A rockslide on I-40 has closed westbound lanes near the Tennessee / North Carolina border until 2/14/2012. Alternate route: US 441 through Cherokee. I-40 east bound lanes are open from Tennessee to North Carolina. Travel to the Cherokee area is not affected by this closure.    Map and information
