An Appalachian Evening is an award-winning concert and dinner series that takes place in a restored 1926 schoolhouse. The Kruger Brothers performances are exciting, calming, entertaining and spontaneous all-in-one, exhibiting their sheer joy in playing music. Swiss brothers Uwe Kruger on guitar, and Jens Kruger on banjo, team up with bassist Joel Landsberg to produce traditional American Folk and Bluegrass music mingled with Classical European musical influences. Audiences are treated to acoustic string music performed with a rich new flavor. Plan to come early for a traditional Appalachian Dinner served family style in our dining room (reservations required). Tickets go on sale June 1.
