Hands on Cherokee Basketry

Learn the traditional trade of Basket Weaving as taught by a Master Cherokee Artisan. In the heart of the Oconaluftee Indian Village you will work with a Cherokee Artisan to create a beautiful Cherokee mat using centuries old techniques. Limited to 12 per day, Adults only (age 13 +). Ticket price includes admission of self-guided tour. Offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Kids will learn the traditional trade of Pottery making as taught by a Master Cherokee Artisan. In the heart of the Oconaluftee Indian Village you will work with a Cherokee Artisan to create a Cherokee pot using centuries old techniques. Limited to 20 per day, Kids Only with parental supervision. Offered Monday through Saturday at 2 p.m.
