Cherokee Trails Public Transit

| Cherokee Transit's air-conditioned buses connect the Tennessee and North Carolina Smokies with four round-trips daily between Cherokee, Sugarlands, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The route runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Newfound Gap (Highway 441). There's a 10-minute stop at Newfound Gap for photos, etc. on the daytime runs. Upon arrival, you can connect to local transit services for a day of shopping and sightseeing; and return on any scheduled run or remain at the Sugarlands visitor center and enjoy the trails, exhibits or gift shop. Tickets may be purchased from either the driver or at the ticket boot in Cherokee. Cash and Travelers Checks only. Ask driver about Casino Voucher. |

Cherokee Transit Ticket Booth in Cherokee
Unscheduled stops along the route may be arranged with as much advance notice as possible (Happy Hiker-Gatlingburg, Harrah's Casino-Cherokee, GSMNP Pull-offs, etc.)
